Small Business Development Workshop for Richmond-Based Artists (online)

Are you an artist based in Richmond, California who is ready to grow your art business?

NIAD and Richmond Main Street Initiative (RMSI) are excited to present an online Small Business Development Workshop for Richmond-Based Artists on June 23, 2021 from 1-2:30 PM PT.

During the workshop, Demetri Broxton, Senior Director of Education at Museum of the African Diaspora, will help you:

  • Define your values.
  • Develop your mission.
  • Refine your art writing.

You'll also receive a Square Reader that accepts chip cards and contactless payments like Apple Pay and Google Pay, and information on how to:

  •  Understand how to set up an e-commerce platform.
  • Get answers to your burning questions about running a business.

AND the first 12 people to RSVP will receive business cards and postcards featuring a reproduction of one artwork.
